Brunette again!

After the summer months and dying my hair blonde (for the first and final time) I decided it was time to go dark again. It feels amazing to be me again. I absolutely love having dark hair again. I finally built up the guts to sneak my short fringe in, and im glad I did. I still miss the days of having short spikey hair, but my fringe has become a happy medium. Best of both worlds, for now. On other matters, Ive been so busy with prac and work Ive had no time for fun!! Hopefully can sneak some in somewhere in the next 2 weeks of uni break. Also when I get the chance to I want to upload photos of the portrait I did for the COJ Arts Exhibition. Til then, love ya long time

Im starting my double exposure film project today (), something Ive been putting off for a while, or Ive started it in one of my cameras, forgot about it and just continued shooting normally. So Ive loaded my LC-a+ up with 100 iso negative, and ive set my asa setting at 200. The first run through Im looking at shooting good background drops, intresting surfaces and textures. Once Ive shot through once, Ill re-load my film and shoot through again. Im so excited to see what awesome photos will come from it.

Diana mini

Ok.. So today I ordered the new diana mini, I have been procrastinating about getting one now for the last 2 months or so, or waiting till I go overseas where I can get it for much cheaper. Well waiting got the better of me, and now that I went through with it, I am sooo excited and cant wait for it to arrive :D I will shoot away in both square format and half frame and ill let you know what i think... I have the Diana F+ but find that the cost and difficulty in getting medium format film developed here a little bit of a hassle, even though I am always rewarded with great images.

so the question is: will this mini and convinient style deliver???

Tadaah

Firstly, welcome! This is my first blog, which I will hopefull use and enjoy. I am inspired by all things artful. I grew up with two main passions in life, sport and art. Sport has lead me everywhere so far, even overseas and has always come natural and more easily, and art is something i love, but have to work harder for. So after studying 3 years of sport science, I have decided that an arts degree will be more rewarding and reflective of where I wish to lead my life. Im better at drawing than I am painting, but love that I am learning to oil paint. Photography is also a huge passion of mine, I wish I had more time for it.
